Amsterdam day 4 - Schipol to Changi
I woke up quite late for my last full day in Europe, just nice to catch the late breakfast, not so much because of enjoying the bed. I just didn't feel like waking up early. Went down stairs to Albert Heijn to buy chocolates to bring back home. I checked out from the Abba hotel by noon, stayed in the lounge for a while to enjoy the 'free' internet access, then made my move to the Amsterdam Central Station.
After that I bought the one way ticket to Schipol Airport and departed to Schipol. It was still early considering my flight is not until 11 pm at night. When I reached Schipol, I regretted that I didn't do an online checking. All the aisle seats and window seats are occupied, there's only one left over aisle seat, which was on the last row of the plane. It was a two-seated row. I chosed that one. Later on, I'm glad I'd chosen that seat, I had a great time with the person seated next to me. She was from NTU as well, Business School graduate, and she was on a business trip. She worked in Philips Singapore (forgotten her name already :p ) Anyway, nice talking to her.
I reached Changi, Singapore the next day, around 5pm, and straight away go back to my home sweet home.
This concludes my 11-days journey in Europe :D
All in all, it was a great experience, although it's expensive :p. I hoped one day I can get a chance to do this kind of travelling again. And I hoped it won't be travelling alone then :D.
