2 weeks..
What can happen in 2 weeks?
The answer to that is a LOT. I've been away from blogging for just about 10 days, and here's a list of things happening in the past 2 weeks:
- Indonesia's ex-president Suharto passed away.
- Jakarta's flooded - again.
- The company I work for made a proposition to buy Yahoo!
On a personal note, I've been sick the past week. Well, I've recovered now, after a dose of antibiotics, cough mixture, panadols and flu medicines. I'm glad I brought around 5 sets of these combination from Singapore. This is my first time felt sick in Denmark, and I hope it won't happen often. I didn't take any sick leave, partly because the AX Training Team Summit happened here last week. We had a good dinner last Wednesday, and great fun too with Deco's Escravous Dez Jo game.
Cordell, our colleague from US visitted us again this week. It seems like we've had visitor from US every other week, since I've joined. I was looking for an English word for 'Kapur Barus' the other day, and Cordell is the only one who can tell me that. It's 'moth balls.' I guess that's the different with native English speakers.
I've moved in to my 'permanent' house in Klampenborg. The shifting (last weekend) was smooth, although it took me 4 actual trips, compare to 2 that I'd planned initially.

Another interesting thing...
My old High School, SMUK1, will have a special day where the students won't be wearing uniform on this coming Valentine's Day. Interesting...

To think that this thing can actually happen, the OSIS committee must have some nerve to pull this through.

Potluck Luncheon
We've just had a potluck luncheon after the church service. It was great. There're a lot of food from many countries. I didn't have a chance to eat a lot though, because most of the food was finished by the time I got to go and eat. I'm not that hungry anyway. I brought chicken wing. It's easy to bake, and it's not so expensive and it's delicious. I also learnt how to make the coffee as part of the fellowship team.
Today also marked the day that I met the most Indonesian in one day (with the exception of my first week here with Muli's friend). I met Agustinus, Siska and Pastor Eric and Frieda. And with Siska's husband, there're 6 people speaking Bahasa Indonesia at the same time. Yay!
Yesterday I was invited to Nora's house for dinner. Sadly, I missed the appointment because I thought it's for next week.
This week also there's Valentine's Day. There's nothing valentiney either in my office or at my home. Although, I've had my first Danish lesson that day. The teacher, Didde, seems younger than me. She's still studying in one of the university here. But so far, the lesson's been great. I learnt how to say 'How are you' and stuff.
At work, it started to get busy. I have some deadlines to meet by mid April and I've worked out the project plan. Seems like it's do-able, although it's gonna be a tight schedule. Don't get me wrong, it's great to have a tight schedule. It gives you some pressure and makes you work more efficient and realize your potential. Like they say, what doesn't kill you just make you stronger. Make or break!

66000 Percent Inflation
This news reminds me of a friend that I met on 'Train the Trainer' class here in Copenhagen, back in June. I wonder how is he doing now. This also reminds me of another thing. Despite of every not so good thing, you can always find things to give thanks to. Even though Indonesia is not the best country in the world, but surely I'm thankful that we don't have 66000 percent rate inflation...

One of the advantage of living in European country is you can watch Premier League and Champions League LIVE in 'normal' hours. Back from their fresh
defeat by
Barnsley at FA cup, currently half-time,
Liverpool is drawing
Internazionale. For all Liverpool fans out there - booorinng....
Currently watching: Liverpool vs Internazionale

Lunar Eclipse
How can I missed this? Dang, those Championship League matches... moreover, Arsenal vs AC Milan was even more boring than yesterday's Liverpool vs Inter.
In the CNN news, they said there'll be a total solar eclipse later this year August. Should not miss that one.
